Space Available

The military has this nice little perk called "Space Available. " Essentially, what it means is if there is space available on flights, they will take passengers. So this last Tuesday John left for three weeks in Hawaii. On Wednesday, a flight came up for Oahu, Hawaii. So I jumped on it and flew down to spend a few days with him. He's pretty busy with work, but I got to spend Saturday (possibly his only day off for the next few weeks) with him. We partook of a hike to a very dry waterfall, some Dole Whip(pineapple ice cream), a drive around half the island, another hike to a lighthouse, and then rounded the day out with a nice dinner at Assaggio(Italian). Yesterday I jumped back on a flight to Elmendorf AFB.
