Waking Up

This morning a woke up to a long whining/groaning sound. At first I thought it was my husband, but in the half sleep state I realized it was coming from outside. Looking out the window, there was a young bull moose scratching his horns on the tree in our front yard. I wish I had a picture to add but it was 3:30 in the morning, therefore, very dark! Just one of the those funny things to get used to here!

Sunday Pictures

John and I have decided to take a picture out our front window every Sunday morning from where ever we are at the time. This is today's picture, as you can see we are living in a winter wonderland! Which is beautiful and great, but it's October!

Our Trip to Hawaii

After we got home, we had about a week of unpacking and trying to get some normalcy. However, John got sent on a trip to Hawaii and they let me come!

While John was up front flying, I was baking cookies in the "kitchen." I also got to watch him take-off and land!
