House for Sale

Our home is officially up for sale now, which means this whole moving thing is becoming a reality. We are attempting to do For Sale by Owner and our house is listed on a couple websites, including craigslist. We've had it listed for a couple weeks now, and were feeling a bit discouraged that we hadn't heard anything. Last Tuesday we finally got it listed on craigslist (I was little reluctant to post it until John got home), and on Wednesday we got a call from a prospective buyer. On Saturday they come to take a look, and low and behold, they are very interested. They also brought a Realtor with them, and he made several comments on how well our house showed and that we made a very good presentation. So even if this couple doesn't end up buying the house, it was nice to hear that encouragement.

When I first moved in, I had intended to post pictures, for those of you who wouldn't make it up here to see for yourself, and well, time just got away from me. So now that we're moving out, here are some pics. Oh, and if you know of anyone who is moving to Anchorage, you can pass on this info!
