Nine Months

These months just keep slipping by too quickly. Yes, Miss Sydney is 3/4 of a year already. Still no sign of any teeth, but fully crawling now. She is on the move and I'm getting a little worried about her being able to walk. She's already trying to run when we hold her hands and help her. For her 9 month birthday today she tried to pull herself up on the couch, thankfully everything in our little apartment is a little too tall for her to be able to really do that. She is also really starting to babble. She's usually a very quiet baby and content to just watch and explore things without making a noise, but now she's really starting to find her voice, which is fun to hear. We love waking up to her little squeals. We are starting to see some stubborn behaviors, instead of spitting food out that she doesn't want to eat, she simply won't open her mouth and will kind of ignore you until you give up. Sneaky little girl! Well, mom's got her own tricks too.

I got to hang out with my Auntie Sara
Meeting new friends at mama's Girl's Weekend with her college friends

Mama Bear's Projects

Here are a few of the projects I've been working on
Durango + Robin's Egg Crochet Hat
This one is my favorite, I found it at this website,
I have to admit I'm pretty proud of myself on this one

Olivia's Butterfly
I found this one at this website, it's suppose to be a for a little girl, and this one probably is, but the one below was my first attempt and it's actually too big for me
This maybe be for Kelsy, she's got a pretty good sized noggin, love you Kels!

Here is a close up of the butterfly stitching

Missing words and extra endings

So, did anyone else notice that I've botched the titles of my last two posts??? "Finally Europe Tour Post," should have said, "Final Europe Tour Post." And the last one "What one would in Altus, OK to keep busy," should have been "What one would DO in Altus, OK to keep busy." Apparently, I only proof the text and not the title, sometimes I don't even do that. One of my most common editing mistakes is leaving out words, as you all probably know! When I was in high school, this used to drive my mother nuts when she was proofing a paper for me. Maybe I could make it more like a game. Find the missing words!!

Well, I just wanted to call myself out on, since none of you were, y'all are so sweet. The mistakes are now corrected.

Hope you good evening! :)

What one would do in Altus, OK to keep busy...

Go to the Altus Rodeo parade, which consists of about 3 trucks pulling trailers with signs on them, 2 4-H groups on horse-back, and 1 herd of long horn cattle struttin' through downtown.

Go to the Rodeo

Go swimming because it is literally 109 degrees outside

Crochet a new hat

Read the baby books about feeding your child solids 3 months after you've already started
